6/3/14 - Phonochrome's premier of Infrared was a huge success, resulting in positive reviews in the San Francisco Classical Voice. 5/19/14 - Agony/Ecstasy has made it to the semi-finalist round of the American Prize: Orchestral Composition Division. Finalist will be announced in June, and prize winners in August. Click to listen to Agony/Ecstasy!
5/14/14 - At the end of June, I will attend the Oregon Bach Festival to workshop my latest piece, Infrared. The piece will be professionally recorded, and performed at various concerts throughout the year. More details will be posted shortly!
3/27/14 - TKO, for String Quartet has won the Zvi Zeitlin International Composition Competition, North America Region! The work will be performed by East Coast new music collective Cuatro Puntos.
3/1/14 - Phonochrome is a Bay Area collective focused on chamber music. The group has recently commissioned me to write a companion piece to George Crumb's Vox Balaenae. My piece (entitled Infrared) will explore the idea of transitioning from visible light to invisible light; thus Infrared travels from the logical world of what is seen, to the mysterious and unseen world of the subconscious. This piece will be debuted on May 29th, 2014 at the Center for New Music in San Francisco.

8/15/13 - Transcendent Pathways is a new Bay Area concert series founded on the simple belief that music, when performed live to a receptive audience, can have a therapeutic and healing effect.
